Last night, I performed the omen for Virtual Fire Proto-Grove's ritual. It was a tad disjointed, because my cat thought the rune bag (that Loki picked btw) was cat treats.  Then she realized that I had a cup of water and she wanted my water.  When she wasn't in my face, she was zoomie-ing all around me.  Cat chaos.  A lesson from Loki, other than " What? I didn't give you that cat, Freyja did! " was put the cat outside of the room during the ritual.  😆  Two entities came through last night: the Spirit of the Scythe and Manannán mac Lir (whom I call Mac). The Scythe Spirit picked the Elder Futhark runes and Manannán mac Lir picked the Fairy Tale Fortune cards .  On June 20th, I came across a post by Morgan Daimler called 7 Tips to Spotting Misleading Fairy Claims . Good post, Morgan knows her stuff. I just got to thinking about Nature Spirits. Which is a general term that I use for the various types. Some are called fae, others called landwights or landvaettir, Jotun, nymphs, satyrs, dryads, and a whole host of other cultural names. Being eclectic, I have entities from all over the place—different parts of the world, different cultures, etc. It’s just easier to be general with Nature Spirits. I got a new statue for my birthday, which I’ll be talking more about in an April 14th post. It’s an interesting statue—of Pythia. However the spirit that resides in the statue isn’t a Hellenic High Priestess and Oracle, oh no, it’s Norse Seiðkona spirit. I felt her as soon as I pulled the statue out of the box, and confirmed it later. With Vesta’s permission, I switched statues on my desk. I’ve been making big changes to my business this year, choosing to focus more on the psychic part of Hearth Fox Oracle, and remembering why I wanted to start this business in the first place. As I pack up handmade products that never sold or the wasted money on packing and crafting supplies, I can’t help but feel sad and mediocre. Then this rune rolled out from my business shelf. Ingwaz, the rune of Freyr and Fertility. I know good prosperous things will come from this big, necessary change, but it’s also okay to grieve what didn’t work out. Grieve, heal, and move on. On Feb 16 2025, we got a great snow storm, although hubby had to get up and go to work. From my bed, I also got to work... I do want to mention that I have a a bindrune already in our vehicle—a protection spell that I often feed to keep it working. But I think this spell can be used regardless of whether or not you have an existing spell. Firework-wise, it's been rough for me at night...except last night oddly enough. Last night was disturbingly peaceful, but I'm not complaining. Last night I took advantage of the break to scry with Odin. I ended up meeting with Freyja and Baldur instead and had great talks with Them, and how honesty and lessons don't always have to be brutal and harsh, as many of us have been taught. True, brutal and harsh do have their places, but often can be more harmful than healing. Whew this week has been rough on many people, myself included. Dealing with depression yuck. I hope it was easier on yall, though. I hope yall had necessary support and healthy coping methods. I am grateful for mine.   Did you know that your can charge, enchant, and have your hygiene products blessed and boosted? Yes, even the regular department store-bought stuff.   This morning, I got up and made a Laguz music list, comprise of soothing rain, stream, and whale songs. Laguz is the Elder Futhark rune of water and flow.  I got a big cup of hot water and added epsom salts to it, then I drew and sang three runes over the water. Laguz (lah-gooz), Kenaz (ken-ahz), Berkana (bear-kahn-nah). Water, Fire, Earth.
