Around noon, a thunderstorm rolled in.  Hard and heavy.  I gave an apple to Thor for protection and galdred runes over our leaky-too-small-for-frame-screen-door that maintenance installed not too long ago.  In return, Thor instructed me to collect some storm water.  My eldest quickly put a bowl outside for a few minutes, and then collected it.   I brought the bowl into the kitchen and asked for Thor's blessings over the storm water.  He did. I dipped a Mjolnir pendant into it 9 times, and set it on my ADF altar to dry.   I traced a Mjolnir with this blessed Storm Water on myself, my cat, and my kids. I poured most of it into a bottle, with a label, and Thor showed me one of my plants to pour the remainder. Now I have some Thor Blessed Storm Water to be used....soon, I imagine.  It won't keep forever.  Storm Water is very potent, and good for protection and cursing.  It can be mixed with other waters for a boost. Guess we'll see...

Here's a story about the first time I went to someone's home to banish an "Astral Nasty". Before I was a priestess (and before Covid), I was contacted by a student, whose relative had a spirit problem.  Everything this spiritual relative was trying wasn't working.  They even brought in another relative who is a witch--it helped a little bit, but the entity was still in the home, still causing problems.   I did meet with the relative in a public location so we could talk about their problems, things they've tried, and so on.  They told me their family deity was Selene.  I did some divination with Selene to see what our next steps should be in dealing with this entity AND protecting the family. For the last few years—like longer than Fafnir’s presdendency’s, I’ve been embarrassed and ashamed of my country, so the 4th isn’t a day of celebration, it’s a Day of Mourning. America was never great—it’s built on bigotry and greed. Nothing to be proud of—nothing to celebrate in my opinion, so I don’t. Also I hate fireworks. I don’t mind the lights, it’s the sounds and vibrations—they trigger the shit out of my cPSTD. Over the years I’ve learned that CBD and THC gummies (which are legal in my state) help, but sometimes fireworks still trigger me. Headphones/earbuds/plugs don’t work, because of the vibrations. I hate the month of July because I’m just on edge the entire time. Overwhelmed by the energy flying around? The fear, hate, rage, and sadness? You've gotta cleanse, ground, shield yourselves, especially if you're psychic.  Here is one way that I reset and protect myself: Take a epsom salt bath/shower . Over the years, I've found epsom salt to be a great psychic cleanser, but I've also used sea salt, regular salt, and salt scrubs. You can put some in a bath and soak, or if you've no bath like me, I put some in a big cup and filled it with hot/warm water. Then I ask for blessings over the water--you don't have to do this. You could charge the water with your own intentions or ask your spirit allies to help. I believe that the object is just an object, until the spirit/energy is activated, however that happens. Once I feel the energies active, I step into my shower. You don't have to do this, but I like to anoint each of my chakras/energy centers with the epsom salt water.
