 On Thursday, I attended a guided meditation with my friend Hawth Reiter .  I've attended many of his dark/new moon with Hekate sessions over the years (Hawth is also who taught me about Anchoring and body scanning.  Great teacher, fantastic conduit--check him out, book a session.  Highly recommended). Onto the meditation. After anchoring, Hawth takes us to a stairwell that lead down into the earth, where you'll find yourself in a cave or a room, then we leave through a door that leads out to a bonfire.  Months ago, my cave collapsed, because Hekate was all about me following the Sun and the Moon to do my shadow and light work above ground, so She opened the earth to let Sunna and Sister Moon's light in.  I go to a huge hole in the ground, which I usually just jump or climb down into. That night, I had two options--a pinkish silver grand staircase or old, wet, mossy boulders.  I chose the boulders.  As I climbed down, I automatically shapeshifted ...

Intense dream this morning: Hubs and I went to a ritual by Byron Ballard. She was dressed like a whimsical dancer. She moved and instructed and many of us in the audience started to dance with her. Hubs stayed in the back, but I joined, entranced. Then Byron would single people out and give them a command, which involved doing something friendly to another dancer. When people did, we celebrated. Reminded me of Jester's and mischievous Fae. Joyful. Soon a whimsical costume would appear on that person. When it came to me, Byron told me to kiss a handsome guy with a round face and short brown hair. He was cute, but I said no because I didn't know him (it had nothing to do with my husband). Byron responded silently, disappointed. HFO Rubbercut by Me, Nov 9, 2021 Who is the Fox of Hearth Fox Oracle? You know, I wasn't even into foxes before 2017.  They were pretty, and I had seen a living one in a field once from the car when I was little, but they just weren't on my radar. Then I got pregnant with my final kid.  Final--hopefully a girl--kid.  A fox spirit started showing up and I was immediately hooked--in love with foxes!  I crocheted a giant stuffed fox for my kids, inspired by the fox from The Little Prince .   Giant Fox Stuffy by Me, 2017 (which we still have--still in one piece!) I got the kids costumes ready for Halloween: 1 Fallout Vault Dweller 1 Fallout Wastelander 1 Godzilla Which just leaves me.  I usually go as a Kitsune/Foxkin, Raven/Crowkin, or Goatkin.  Last year, passing out candy, I was a Foxkin.  This year I'm really feeling Deer energy, so I may go as a Deer Woman.  I have two deer masks, but one I specifically use in my Reindeer Mother Winter Solstice Rituals.   Yule 2022 The other is a gold buck mask that I've been wanting to repaint.  It hasn't yet been consecrated as an Oracle Mask, unlike the mask above. It's not dedicated to any of my Deer Entities yet.  Course when I try to picture myself as Deer Woman, the old Crow Hag takes over.  I guess it's an either/or for Deer or Crow this year.   There's always Ren Fair, if I can afford to go this year.  In 2023, I went as Crow/Raven Hag and it was awesome.  People actually wanted photos with/of me.  That was a lot of fun.
