 Sometime this morning, I woke up from an intense dream--second one this week and with the same theme!  Except this time, I woke up in a panic--heart pounding, quick breathing.  But the dream wasn't nightmarish--not really.   I went to one of my favorite local spiritual shops called The Magical Druid to see my local grove--Three Cranes.  Then suddenly I wasn't feeling well.  It was like I was being possessed without my consent and I couldn't remove the entity.  I couldn't because it wasn't a stranger coming into me from the outside, but an entity within me, emerging .  Maybe I've been watching too many Alien movies lately?   Prometheus and Covenant are good, though!  An entity not laid inside of me by a devious synth, an airborne virus, or a face-r*ping alien.  Something part of me.  Something that IS me. HFO Rubbercut by Me, Nov 9, 2021 Who is the Fox of Hearth Fox Oracle? You know, I wasn't even into foxes before 2017.  They were pretty, and I had seen a living one in a field once from the car when I was little, but they just weren't on my radar. Then I got pregnant with my final kid.  Final--hopefully a girl--kid.  A fox spirit started showing up and I was immediately hooked--in love with foxes!  I crocheted a giant stuffed fox for my kids, inspired by the fox from The Little Prince .   Giant Fox Stuffy by Me, 2017 (which we still have--still in one piece!) I hyper foxcus (I looked away while typing "focus" and that's the word that my fingers went with, lol).  Yeah, I hyper focused on foxes.  I learned about real foxes, and all of the different colors they can be.  How some like to climb, and all of the crazy sounds they make, and how smelly they are, their diet and habitats.  I crocheted a baby blanket in orange and white and realized...

I found a perfectly preserved Damselfly today.  Hopefully it's sunny tomorrow, because I'd like to capture pictures of those iridescent wings.  🥰 Thank you Nature Spirits for this beautiful specimen.

I saw this big interesting and calm fly on my deck, and took its picture. Doing a reverse image search, I learned that it’s called a Tiger Bee Fly. It’s a pollinator, whose larvae feed on Carpenter Bee larvae. I love Carpenter Bees, but nature needs balance. Other critters deserve to eat and survive, too. Cool bug. I love living out in the country, I’ve photographed and learned about so many animals I’ve never seen before. That’s what I do when I see interesting and beautiful critters—I photograph, observe, research, and record. Our photo albums probably have more pictures of these creatures and their scientific information than people. Maybe my descendants will find them beautiful, too? I’m a photographer (used to be professional), so our albums are brimming with lots of different photos. Plenty of people in them, too. Oh, to be a Loki Fly on the wall...or a mint leaf. Sometimes Loki takes the form of a fly for me. I know its Loki because it follows me around and does things that flies don't usually do. Especially when He really wants my attention. Loki COULD just say something to get my attention...but no. Sometimes He'd rather take the form of a fly and drive me nuts until I finally stop swatting and ask if its Them. Once Loki delivers the message, the fly disappears and doesn't bother me...until the next time Loki Fly decides to "bug" me again. © 2024 Hearth Fox Oracle
