It's finally October! Today is a great day to spiritually cleanse your home in whatever manner you feel is right. I typically go a smoke cleanse in the names of our family's Hearth Entities, such as Hestia, Vesta, Hekate, Frigg, Loki, and the Tomten and Nisse. It's also a good day for prosperity attracting magiks and rituals. I have a money attracting sigil that works pretty well for us. And I also do the cinnamon thing, except I ask the Spirit of Cinnamon for their help, give offerings, and then blow cinnamon in through my main entrance. Again, another thing that helps us from drown in corporate greed--I-I-I mean "inflation". If you're sensitive to spirits, I'd suggest cleansing and recharging your wards, too. Remember, not all spirits are evil and out to get you. Most are neutral and are just existing. Places without spirits are unnatural. Happy October it's *CINNAMON DAY! If you're not aware, every first day of the month, take a little bit of cinnamon in your hand and stand outside of your open door. Calm and ground yourself and charge that cinnamon...or awaken the power of cinnamon as it is a good money drawing spice. Say, "Money flows into my home. Money flows into our businesses, bank accounts, and wallets." Or something similar. 3,7, or 9 times. Odd numbers are powerful magik, you can also use any number that you associate with money, especially if it makes you happy. And/or visualize positive money flowing--money for rent, bills, food, and fun--through your door. When you're ready, blow the cinnamon in through your doorway. The Vestalia has ended, and I'm back from my break. I haven't gotten to the divine messages from Vesta or Vestal Rhea yet, but I will. I've injured my toes this noon (last night, too, same toes), so I may not get to the divination today. I took a break for the Vestalia this week and got some great insight from the Vestals. Regarding my business and my mental health, I'm just gonna keep doing me and not what FB wants me to do. I figure it's like trying to lose weight for health--can't keep your eyes on the scales, otherwise you'll become enslaved by numbers and abused by FB's systems, and lose sight of the reasons and the goals.   At least that's how I feel about scales--I don't use em, because I know how I get if I do. Same goes for FB algorithms--who just feel like an abusive parent to me at this point--telling me that I'm lazy when I'm working my butt  I'm going to try to break myself from looking at those numbers, because burn out...

Hearth Fox Oracle is going to be busy this year.  Last year I did one vending event--the Beltane Psychic Faire with Dayton Pagan Coalition, and I really enjoyed it.  Trying to sell on Etsy or FB can be really depressing--fighting with algorithms and Pay-to-Win bs of those websites.  When I did my first vending event, I sold more within a few hours than I ever did on Etsy!  It made me feel great and worth something.  Like, people actually wanted my goods...which with Etsy and social media in general, I don't really feel that way.   I'm grateful for every customer, client, and supporter--yall keep me going in this competitive small business world.   After the success of the Psychic Faire last year, I began budgeting and talking to other local small business friends for opportunities.  I began planning and keeping my eyes open for events, as well as sharing events with my friends, so they'd also have the opportunity to make money. ...
