Last night's Mabon and Full Moon Zoom Ritual with Evermoving We Rise went fantastic! We had a great turn out of attendees. One thing that was funny last night, is after invocation, I kept shaking my head like a horse, and it turned out that Sleipnir was there for someone, and it made sense to them.  I was worried that my neck was going to be sore this morning, but I'm fine.   A reminder of why doing yoga and stretches before invocation is important.  You never know what's going to happen or who will show up.  Once this spark of inspiration ignited in my brain on Tuesday night, I was obsessed with creating these rune sets.  I had a bunch of wooden ball beads in my tool box that I had wanted to use for runes, but I wanted to make it seasonal. Snowballs came to mind--and I will be making sets of snowball runes!--but not Fall-y, ya know?  Then it struck me--it was so obvious--apples and pumpkins!  I'm very excited!  I've been crafting like a mad woman on these sets these last couple of days. Hearth Fox Oracle Etsy There are two sets of pumpkins and two sets of apples--one regular sized, one smaller sized with the apple sets.  Each one will have it's own pouch, guide card, and charm from Spirit, same as the other rune sets.   These runes are wooden beads painted with acrylic paints, one orange with a pink shimmer and the other a metallic red.  Both with a metallic green for the leaves.  The pumpkin sets have fern-green acrylic yarn stems, and the apples have dark brown cotton stems.

 Woot! Woot!  I've finally ordered the Guide Cards for my Elder Futhark and Witch Runes, which means that around the Fall Equinox, my rune pouches will be live on my  Etsy  and Facebook !  I'm super excited!  In the meantime, And more on the way!

  Greeting yall!  Today is the first day of the Dark Moon’s three-day phase.  September is an important month for me, a month of observation.  What am I observing?  Why the descent of Dionysus, Ariadne, and Persephone into the Underworld.  Last month, during the grape harvest, Dionysus sacrificed Himself so that we may eat His body and drink His blood.  Thus, He’s made His way back down to the Underworld, and has resumed His role as Psychopomp (guide of the dead). As for Ariadne and Persephone, Their stories are very similar, except that the Minoan Myth Ariadne wasn’t forced to go to the Underworld like the Greek Myth Persephone.  She was a willing Psychopomp. According to Laura Perry, in the Mediterranean regions, this is a time when Ariadne returns to the surface to aid in growth—wild and domestic growth.  During this time, Dionysus guides His beloved Ariadne from the Underworld to our world.
