HFO Rubbercut by Me, Nov 9, 2021 Who is the Fox of Hearth Fox Oracle? You know, I wasn't even into foxes before 2017.  They were pretty, and I had seen a living one in a field once from the car when I was little, but they just weren't on my radar. Then I got pregnant with my final kid.  Final--hopefully a girl--kid.  A fox spirit started showing up and I was immediately hooked--in love with foxes!  I crocheted a giant stuffed fox for my kids, inspired by the fox from The Little Prince .   Giant Fox Stuffy by Me, 2017 (which we still have--still in one piece!) I hyper foxcus (I looked away while typing "focus" and that's the word that my fingers went with, lol).  Yeah, I hyper focused on foxes.  I learned about real foxes, and all of the different colors they can be.  How some like to climb, and all of the crazy sounds they make, and how smelly they are, their diet and habitats.  I crocheted a baby blanket in orange and white and realized...

I’ve been making big changes to my business this year, choosing to focus more on the psychic part of Hearth Fox Oracle, and remembering why I wanted to start this business in the first place. As I pack up handmade products that never sold or the wasted money on packing and crafting supplies, I can’t help but feel sad and mediocre. Then this rune rolled out from my business shelf. Ingwaz, the rune of Freyr and Fertility. I know good prosperous things will come from this big, necessary change, but it’s also okay to grieve what didn’t work out. Grieve, heal, and move on. Business has to change in order to grow and become successful. I am a better psychic than a crafter. It’s bittersweet. ~ Priestess Kristy "Foxlyn" Tackett

Happy Midwinter, yall! This evening, with my family, we'll be honoring our family's Hearth and Home Entities, as well as some Winter ones, too. Hestia - Greek Goddess of Hearth and Home. First and the Last. Fire Keeper. Key Bearer. I have been a Daughter since I was at least 8-years-old, and a Hearth Keeper since 2015. Vesta - Roman Goddess of Hearth, Home, and City. The Living Flame. She's been in my life since I was a child, too. Sometimes you may see me hyphenate Their names, because sometimes They appear as one Goddess and sometimes two. I am one of Her Daughters and a Vestal. Hekate - Titaness, Goddess, Key Bearer, Torch Bearer of Land, Sea, and Sky; of Witchcraft and Spirits; and yes, even a Hearth Deity. Kind of like the Celtic Brigid, Hekate governs over many areas. I am one Her Children, as well as a Torch Bearer and Priestess. Frigg - Norse Goddess. Key Bearer. Wife of Odin, mother of Baldur. Practitioner of magik and prophecy; sees much, shares none. Loki - Nor...
