March 20 :  Spring Equinox - March 20, 2026 The Sun is strong enough to carry itself higher into the sky! Reindeer Mother has calved and shed Her antlers!  She's reunited with Her herd! Now it is time for Rabbit and Serpent to take Their places as Gatekeeper in my ADF Druidry! Also it's the Epopteia, Persephone has returned from the Underworld, walking with Life in every step! Blessed Midspring yall! It's morning of May 1st and it's raining off and on.  It's supposed to be rainy and stormy for the next few days.  Course the weather apps aren't super accurate.  We had rain this morning, but the storms we're supposed to have all day have vanished from the accu-weather app.  I hate the app, it's so inaccurate.  There's no storms, yet it says to expect storm this afternoon.  Too vague.  And because Google is being weird again, I can't share screen shot from my phone. But enough about annoying inaccurate weather apps, it's Midspring! Yesterday my family celebrated Midspring because today it was supposed to be storming all day.  We went to a park, played catch, explored a pond, walked, and ended at the playground.  Then ended the day with ice cream.   However the night ended with an adorable Bold Jumping Spider in my kitchen.  It was just as fascinated by me as I was by it.  I love spiders, especially...

Thanks to Debra Macleod’s New Vesta Tradition, this day used to be the Flamma Vesta (I believe it’s also the Roman New Year). It was a day to honor the Roman Vesta and Her Priestesses, the Vestals. It was a day of purification and renewal of shrines and candles. A rededication of myself as a Vestal. A day of house cleaning and family bonding—immortal and mortal family. But…I already had a day like the Flamma Vesta. Well, days. The Vestalia in June (7th-15th, or sometimes just the 9th, depending on my spoons). The only thing that’s different is the Priestess rededication, which I’ve added to the Vestalia. Every 1st of the month, I also honor Vestia, aka Hestia-Vesta.
