You know what I’m not enjoying about Substack—the ablism and classism. Knowing the difference in spelling between there, they’re, and their isn’t a sign of intelligence or kindness or anything. I have dyslexia. I know grammar rules and spelling, yet I have to rely on programs to not get torn apart by grammar assholes on the internet who would think me dumb and unworthy of writing, period. Guess what? The AI and programs ain’t perfect either. They still miss mistakes and get things wrong, sometimes they don’t even provide correct spellings at all. Sometimes the suggestions from the programs make no damn sense. Also not all word to text programs are that great either. We can’t all afford the “perfect” ones to please yall’s sophisticated palates. Sometimes I don’t want to use the programs, because I don’t want to sound like a robot or like everyone else.
