I’ve been making big changes to my business this year, choosing to focus more on the psychic part of Hearth Fox Oracle, and remembering why I wanted to start this business in the first place. As I pack up handmade products that never sold or the wasted money on packing and crafting supplies, I can’t help but feel sad and mediocre. Then this rune rolled out from my business shelf. Ingwaz, the rune of Freyr and Fertility. I know good prosperous things will come from this big, necessary change, but it’s also okay to grieve what didn’t work out. Grieve, heal, and move on. Here we are at March 2nd, 2025, and I still don't have my psychic readings in my Etsy , as I said I'd have in January and February.  My apologies.  Executive dysfunction is no joke and ADHD sucks sometimes.  I'm going to try to get them in there this month, especially since I have a Psychic Faire at the end of April in Kettering, Ohio.   Trying to figure out what to offer has been a little daunting, too.  Unlike most psychics I don't have different options because I never know what Spirit wants to talk about or how.  Sometimes tools aren't needed at all to get the message out, Spirit just talks.  Or the tools just act as a way to get me focused so that I can hear Them.   Working the different in-person events has taught me that I'm not a fan of general questions.  Like, when I ask, "What's your message for me?" I can usually figure out what Spirit's talking about, because obviously it's my life.  With strangers those kinds of q...

  My hubby bought me a Hekate statue. Look at Her! Fuckin gorgeous! No boob/s out. No ridiculously huge hair or feathers or whatever's going on with one of those other popular statues. When this one was first released, I fell in love. I haven't cared for the other Hekate statues that I've seen over the years. I don't have an issue with boobs or nudity (I have a Minoan Snake Goddess and Kat Shaw oracle decks for crying out loud--I'm also pansexual--I love boobs!), but I don't see Hekate like that. She's always clothed when She comes to me. Plus She's one of my Spiritual Mothers. I don't want to see Her breasts. I also like how the statue's face isn't youthful, it actually looks like the face of an older woman. As it turns out, when you get a new home, you don't have enough money for other things, like Etsy fees.  My shop is temporarily suspended, but will be back up on Thursday or Friday.  This gives me time to plan for my winter products and the fall item sale.   Also being moved in means that I can work on those new products that I've been wanting to craft: the Greek Alphabet Oracle and Younger Futhark Runes!   I'm looking forward to doing general community messages and card/rune pulls again, too.   I maybe broke for the moment, but lots is to come for Hearth Fox Oracle.   Stay tuned, yall!  Thank you for your support! - Rev. Hearth Fox Oracle does not answer questions about health, pregnancy, legal, or finances... But I do offer relationship readings now, available with any   Oracle and Psychic Service in The Hearth Fox Shop . I didn't used to offer them, because I wasn't comfortable.  But thanks to my Ministry Service , I've had lots of practice doing relationship readings for people, and now I'm very comfortable.   I've also made changes to the website, especially the The Hearth Fox Shop , hopefully it's easier to get around and understand now. And I lowered my prices on this website, too.  Some of the prices are the same or less than Etsy .  As for my Square Shop, I wasn't getting much traffic there, so I've stopped accepting purchases there for a bit.  I've been focusing more on my Priestess duties and studies, and haven't spent a lot of time promoting my products.  That'll change soon as I figure out how to balance everything.   I am still accept...

Due to the Etsy's fee hike, there's an Etsy Strike .  Many shop owners, myself included, have put our shops on vacation from the 11th to the 18th.  Here is a petition with more information . Etsy was already charging 23% in fees, as of today that number has increased to about 30%, which would force many shops to increase their prices to make profit.  My numbers may be way off,, someone said that they actually take like 50-70% of your profits, especially on large orders.  I don't really understand math due to my dyscalculia.  My husband was trying to explain all of the math to me when I was trying to figure out how to increase my prices earlier this month.   Either way, stirke!   Etsy sent out an email a few weeks ago, saying that the fee increase was due to new tools.  They also posted a reminder in the editing dashboard about the "1.5% increase".  Like, I don't care about the new tools and I promote myself, I should be able to opt ...

I've been sick this month and haven't had the energy for readings, however I have been working!  I've finally launched my Etsy Shop !  It definitely needs a make over, and I am working on making it look better.  I'm also working on more items.  Right now, I just have empty pouches, but soon I will be listing pendulums and rune pouches.  The runes I've been making are witch runes and Elder Futhark.  I also have some ideas for my shop. The pendulums that I'm making are using jewelry that inherited from my grandmother 6 years ago.  I don't wear too much jewelry, but I think many pieces will make lovely pendulums.  My grandma had eclectic tastes in jewelry!
