I’ve been making big changes to my business this year, choosing to focus more on the psychic part of Hearth Fox Oracle, and remembering why I wanted to start this business in the first place. As I pack up handmade products that never sold or the wasted money on packing and crafting supplies, I can’t help but feel sad and mediocre. Then this rune rolled out from my business shelf. Ingwaz, the rune of Freyr and Fertility. I know good prosperous things will come from this big, necessary change, but it’s also okay to grieve what didn’t work out. Grieve, heal, and move on. Here we are at March 2nd, 2025, and I still don't have my psychic readings in my Etsy , as I said I'd have in January and February.  My apologies.  Executive dysfunction is no joke and ADHD sucks sometimes.  I'm going to try to get them in there this month, especially since I have a Psychic Faire at the end of April in Kettering, Ohio.   Trying to figure out what to offer has been a little daunting, too.  Unlike most psychics I don't have different options because I never know what Spirit wants to talk about or how.  Sometimes tools aren't needed at all to get the message out, Spirit just talks.  Or the tools just act as a way to get me focused so that I can hear Them.   Working the different in-person events has taught me that I'm not a fan of general questions.  Like, when I ask, "What's your message for me?"   My hubby bought me a Hekate statue. Look at Her! Fuckin gorgeous! No boob/s out. No ridiculously huge hair or feathers or whatever's going on with one of those other popular statues. When this one was first released, I fell in love. I haven't cared for the other Hekate statues that I've seen over the years. I don't have an issue with boobs or nudity (I have a Minoan Snake Goddess and Kat Shaw oracle decks for crying out loud--I'm also pansexual--I love boobs!), but I don't see Hekate like that.  Ah, the child beasts have returned to school today!  I am a very happy mama!  Maybe I'll be able to have the peace, quiet, and energy to get back to the daily/weekly draws?  Which is what I'm going to do now!  Usually on school days, I draw cards for my kids, which they enjoy immensely.  Last year we used a Therapets deck.  This year, we're adding another animal spirit deck to our morning routine. Before I deleted my Facebook business page, I was going through the old photos and Pick-a-Tool/Piles and got inspired!  I have a lot of different decks, but out-of-sight-out-of-mind, so I forgot about a lot of them.  Going through those old photos, I was inspired by the colors and how much effort I used to put into setting up the scenes.  Although to be fair, I have been mourning this year, so the few community readings I've done have been lackluster.   That's going to change!  Yay and hail Inspiration Spirits! Do you need a pouch for a deck, runes, or trinkets? I've crocheted many different sizes and colors of pouches, some of acrylic and some of wool yarns. I've been using crocheted pouches since 2015 when I learned how to crochet and when I got my first tarot deck and set of runes. Other than wear from me shuffling, my decks and runes are still in good condition. Your divination tools don't need to be in fancy fabrics or bulky boxes, most pouches will do to hold and protect your tools. I travel a lot with my tools, and my soft crochet pouches have worked great for me. But it all depends on you--the user of said tools, as everyone's experience with different materials will be different. Only available on my Etsy and in-person events.

 Pendulums, you want them, I've got some in my Etsy Shop !  Contrary to popular opinion, pendulums don't have to be crystals or gemstones, or be on little chains.  When my grandmother died in 2014, I inherited a lot of her old costume jewelry.  Not being one to wear a lot of jewelry myself, I decided to clean, cleanse, and repurpose these pendants, earrings, pins, and barretts.  I macremed some cotton threads and create pretty pendulums.  Many have sold over the years, but I still have a few left.  Some you may even have a chance at winning in my newest handmade products, Spider Surprise!
