I've drawn, New Moon in Taurus - Prosperity lies ahead. Outside of paychecks and saving on gas or possible wreckage just from staying indoors. Perhaps a surprise settlement check.
The Deer Mother and Winter Hag Cailleach say, through the Imbolc deck:

I pulled,
- Black Bear - "Your existence is the resistance. All you must do is accept the power awaiting your arrival." Personal Power. Combat fear and hate with compassion. Protect yourself, too.
I feel Cailleach hitting on something that I saw on Bluesky--a witch calling for people to not only curse ICE but also their children. Generational curses, which always annoy me. It's like those who get cheated on and attack the person they cheated with, who may not even know what going on. No, you attack the person who cheated on you.
Just imagine being cursed because of something an ancestor did. That's fucked up. Shit ain't right.
I'm not against cursing, and I've even cursed child/teen bullies who've harmed my kids. My curses stop when the actions stop or the threat moves away. This person argued that its what our ancestors would've done. There's a lot that my ancestors have done that I don't do. Different times, different culture, different knowledge, different ethics.
I don't believe in cursing people until they've shown they're threat or have harmed. Just because the parents are bigoted bastards, doesn't mean the children will be. I'm the child of bigoted bastards and I am not one. I hated my bigoted parents and their KKK friends when I was little--before I understood what that kind of hatred meant. All I saw around me were cowards. You're afraid of someone who looks different? That's stupid and weak. I didn't want to be stupid and cowardly like them. I was surrounded by hateful, fearful adults, but I didn't think like them.
You can engineer your curses to only activate when certain behaviors are shown, but just to curse their kids and descendants just because the guardians are dicks? Fucked up. Almost like the pot calling the kettle black. You're cursing out of fear of what they might do--who they might be, based solely on the actions and beliefs of their parents/guardians. Sometimes kids do what their parents do because they don't know any better. But they can unlearn and be taught. They don't have to be fearful, willfully ignorant cowards like the adults in their lives.
To curse children because of how their parents act is very immature and wrong. Here's hoping your fearful angry curses don't go through, or are engineered in a certain way that innocents kids aren't victims of your own rage.
If they're grown children, that's different. But adults can also change and grow, of course. But if you're talking about those 18 and below, that's fucked up.
The Cailleach is saying to protect yourselves, but don't go around cursing people--children--who don't deserve it. Control your temper. Ground your fire to a hearth, and turn that dangerous wildfire into a tool. Re-focus. Also know that as you're targeting their families, those practitioners on the other side are also targeting yours. Do you want to be like them? Attacking innocents out of cowardly hate? As the saying goes, eye for an eye makes the world blind. At some point the cycle has to be broken. Different plans and solutions need to happen, or we learn nothing. Just the same cycle of never ending back and forth bullshit.
She's not saying don't curse--this is The Cailleach we're talking about here--She is pro-cursing. She asking you to re-evaluate your targets and intentions. Do you want to be part of the problem or part of the solution? Be smart in your curse crafting...or The Cailleach will pay you a visit.

- Amethyst - "Go where your spirit dwells, where your sights is clear and your breath is liberated." Spiritual connection. Go meditate, trance, journey--a quiet place, your favorite place--for clarity, grounding, and answers about your path, your purpose, your focus.
