A couple of weeks ago, I was contacted by another Norse Justice God, Forseti. He is the son of Baldur and Nanna. Where Tyr is a Warrior Justice God, Forseti is a Peaceful Justice God.
Just before last night's weekly Virtual Fire Proto-Grove ritual, Forseti wanted me to volunteer for the Omen. When we brainstormed about the focus of the ritual, He said to hang back and see what they come up with. Since one person was physically moving and another was metamorphically moving, we decided on Opening Doors focus. One Druid chose Apollo for Inspiration and Prophecy, another chose Mac Lir as the Gatekeeper and the other chose Janus as the being of the occasion.
Liminal threshold deities.
Then Forseti came through, saying that opening of doors is fitting for peaceful reconciliation, as opposed to the force of Tyr kicking open a door armed with a sword.
Forseti came with messages and blessings.
The first thing that He said over and over was Forscythe. I didn't know what it meant, so attendees googled and basically it means Peaceful Person.
He showed me an open door, with a girl bully from my childhood kneeling in the left corner of the door, on the outside of it. A girl who always acted way tougher than she was, thinking that it made her strong. Her home life wasn't great, hence her attitude. She's also a girl that I haven't thought about in a long time, although I do have a photo of her from my 11th birthday party--her and her older sister.
In the vision, she was sad, in pain, and drench, wearing a dirty white nightgown. Powerless. I reached down and touched her head. The girl beneath disappeared, leaving just hair. As I lifted my hand to look at the hair, it turned into wheat and then into seeds. I tossed the seeds into the air, and then stepped through the doorway into a peaceful field of wheat.
A vision of release, of letting go for peace.
Forseti said, "There is a time for Tyr--a time for confrontational justice and there is a time for other ways. Tyr and I are two sides of the same coin. You'll have to discern which path is best for your situation. Sometimes the shield and sword are necessary, other times honeyed words and gentle hands are needed. We both deal in fairness."
As I talked about the peaceful wheat field, someone in the group pulled the 9 of Pents and showed a card displaying the scene that I Forseti was showing me.
I drew cards:
Sleipnir, Mimir, and Kenaz.
All great omens for those who're traveling through open doors.
Sleipnir can travel all over the 9 realms, where most entities can't. And do so swiftly. Keep your eyes open for Horse symbols.
Mimir is knowledge with sacrifice. Travel smart, pack smart.
Kenaz is the Torch. Guidance.
After the ritual, one of the Druids said that the omen reminded them of something from the bible:
"Gospels of Matthew 19:24, Mark 10:25, and Luke 18:24. Jesus states: "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." - Google
They said that long ago entrances to towns were called Needle Eyes, or something like that, because they were so narrow. Before entering, you'd have to unload your camel in order to get them to fit. So it's best to travel light.
That was interesting, especially with the Mimir card there, as well as the initial message from Forseti in the field of wheat. Can't take it all...and should you? Toss out what's not necessary, regardless if your travels and opening doors are physical or not.
Let shit go if you run into issues, toss the seeds into the air. Lots of issues we come across aren't that important. There are often more important things going on in our lives. Focus on our personal lives. Don't ignore the world, but right now you are on a path and focus on walking it. Don't focus on petty drama.Trust in Joy.
Let shit go.
