Morning everyone!  Happy Spring (Northern Hemi), Fall (Southern Hemi), and Dark/New Moon!  I've been busy myself, hence why this post is late.  Sunday I had a ritual with the Pagans of Delaware County , which I made Divination Eggs!  Eggs which will be available for free at my booth at the S pring Psychic Fair in Huber Heights, Ohio .   Monday I made stew and carrot cake, while recovering from the ritual. Tuesday we had our egg hunt with the kids, and today we're going to be having cake, opening eggs, and having our family ritual honoring Spring Deities and Spirits, and thanking the Ostara Hare for prosperity, abundance, and fertility in body, mind, and spirit.   I'm clearly no baker, but it's not bad for running out of icing and being half awake!  However, it tastes pretty good. If you told me when I was struggling through speech class in high school or giving terrible presentations at university that one day I'd regularly be giving presentations in front of people, I'd think you were mad. Writing rituals and performing them for friends and strangers was definitely not in my future in those days. I'd rather be hidden in the crowd! Other than my dyslexia, I was a terrified and anxious mess when it came to public speaking, using microphones, and giving presentations. Absolutely hated it. Yet anxiety always made me have to be the first person up, just to get it out of the way. Now look at me. I don't know how I did it, I just wanted to be involved in my communities, and often times performing rituals are needed, whether you're a part or the lead. Every time it's scary and yes, I mess up whether I'm using a script, notecards, or nothing at all. But I push through the fears and the what ifs, and I learn from every presentation. I study,...

He pushed me down into a watery hole and shoveled dirt down onto me. I struggled at first, then noticed that He looked up at something and ran off. A dragon landed and searched for a meal, and couldn't find me. After it left, Odin returned and pulled me out. Said that sometimes it seems like the Gods want us to fail--digging our graves--when in fact, they're protecting us.  March 6th is the Full Moon and on my spiritual path, it's also the Epopteia (Eh-pop-te-ah), which is a Greek word meaning " the fiery vision of Persephone returning from the Underworld " or so I've been taught.  Some odd years ago, I was a Hellenic Polytheist for a few years, and this is another one of those half inspired by an existing holy time, half UPG.  I don't know that there is an "official" Epopteia, or like the Flamma Vesta, if it was just a term that I loved and felt that it fit.  Bad memory combined with not being able to find my Hellenic Polytheism binders at the moment.     The Epopteia has a sister holy day in September, Persephone's Descent.  In September, either on the Dark/Full Moon or on the Fall Equinox, Persephone returns to the Underworld.  Either on March's Full Moon or Spring Equinox, She leaves Hades for 6 months, flowers in Her steps, joining Her power with many other Spring Entities.  Why the moon issue?  ...
