Happy Fall in the Northern and Spring in the Southern Hemispheres, yall! Inspire by the two seasons, I'm going to use tarot and oracle cards for today's Pick-a-Card. One deck is claimed by Ariadne and the other by Persephone.
Close your eyes and try some 4 square breathing:
- Inhale, 2,3,4
- Hold,2,3,4
- Exhale, 2,3,4
- And rest.
Repeat this however many times as you need to get grounded.
Now think of a question or ask for a message from either of these Goddesses of Life and Death. Pay attention to any numbers, letters, positions, etc., as this could be your intuition guiding you. Pick your card(s).

All right! Have you picked your card(s)? It's fine to be drawn to more than one! Here are the reveals!
- Ariadne: Rowan - Protection. Keep your guard up. Ariadne is hitting on a part of the guidebook that says to protect your doorways (pg 136). However you choose to do with, perhaps using a bit of rowan to boost those protections?
- Persephone: 6 of Pentacles - This suit traditionally deals with the tangible and wealth. If you are receiving gifts, be grateful, and pay it forward.
- Ariadne: Chamomile - Soothe. "Now may not be a great time for change or confrontation. Now is time for calm. But if you must, Diplomacy is your friend" (pg. 40-41).
- Persephone: 8 of Cups - This suit traditionally deals with emotions and relationships. It's time to pick up and walk away from your failures.
- Ariadne: Daylily - Ephemeral. If you are struggling or stressed, known that this moment won't last forever. According to the guidebook (pg 59), daylilys only bloom for one day. Deep breathe, cry, do whatever is needed to get through this challenge. It will be over soon.
- Persephone: 9 of Swords Reversed - This suit traditionally deals with mental processes. It is time to release all that which limits you, stunts your growth and your joys.
