Five of Jars - Present - Loss. In the card, the Mourner is focused on what she's lost and can't see what she still has.
Ace of Swords - Future - Mental Clarity.
Strength - Future - Self explanatory.
This reading is about realizing that you're not alone. You don't need to carry the burdens alone. Reach out to community, family, friends, art, make a blog. Get the burdens out. Talk about them. Express them. To heal, to become empowered.
It's also about helping others who're struggling.
He kept showing me a video that I watched recently, of a person who saved a bee from a web and place it at one of their hives. Some of the bees stopped what they were doing to help this bee who may have been a stranger to the hive. They stopped, they helped, they cleaned her off, and she flew away.
He also showed me Rev. Vic's omen from Saturday's bonus ritual--the rune Ehwaz--the horse, the rider, the wagon and teamwork. (Someone in the group attended their grove's ritual over the weekend, too, and the omen was also Ehwaz - Teamwork and Trust.)
He brought up "telling your grief to the bees", again, burdens you don't need to carry yourself. In the beginning of the ritual, I had attendees whisper their burdens and griefs to a Melissae to hold. It's all about community and communication. A community works best when we talk and listen to one another. When we work together. When we're healthy.
