This image came across my feed the other day and I've been thinking about it and working with Justice Entities every since.
Is it smart to work with Justice Entities, especially when atrocities have been and are legal? Their domain is to uphold the law, regardless of morals. Morals are extremely subjective, just as our laws are. Way back when, many pagans owned slaves, it was normal to conquer, rape, and enslave. Normal and the law of the wealthy and powerful. In some parts of our modern world, slavery is still legal. Murdering based solely on superstition and hate (African witch hunts, for example) is legal.
The Gods aren't human. They see a huge picture that we cannot. They don't serve us. Their morals are different.
What ICE is doing is legal, according to the Orange Chump in Charge and the MAGA Cult.
What will the Justice Entities do? Who will They favor? The rich and powerful, the law makers, the unconstitutional laws and executive orders? The many lawyers and judges suing and ruling against MAGA?
What about when the innocent are sick and tired of CPS, cops, judges, prosecutors, and military protecting their fellow monsters? What happens when the victim or village takes the law into their own hands and dishes out their own brand of justice? Who is favored? Protected? Punished?
Will the Justice Entities favor criminal Lawmakers over true justice?
Will They turn a blind eye to suffering and murder just because it's legal?
Will They act because of other criminal violations, such as pedophilia and human trafficking?
Can we truly depend on and trust Justice Entities who care only for the law?
...and what laws? Universal laws? Laws of Nature? The Laws of the Other? The Many laws of the Gods and Spirits? Fickle human laws that change depending on who's in power?
The laws of the rich and fearful?
The laws of the innocent?
Or is based solely on who gives the best offering? Are Justice Entities so easily bought, like humans?
Gotta be careful with certain entities. Talk to them, if you can. See where Their morals lay. Will They strictly uphold a law, even if its genocide? Will They fight against unjust laws? Who will They help--The Lawmakers, the innocent, or Themselves?
Who decides what's justice? Right and wrong? Talk to all sides, and they'll say it's theirs. What's fair? Unfair? Just? Unjust?
I dunno. I do have two Justice Gods in my life--both Norse--The Warrior Tyr and The Peaceful Forseti. Perhaps I'll talk to Them about my concerns of working Resistance Magiks with those of Their domain?
