Deck Interview with The Wild Unknown

A client made a trade for a session with me recently, and I'm now in the possession of The Wild Unknown Pocket Tarot by Kim Karns.  I love it.  Cute and easier to shuffle than the original.  I'm not sure if I'm going to make a pouch for this one or not, because I really like the tin it came in.

I've been shuffling this deck for a couple of days now.  Time to ask it some questions:

1) What can you help me with?
2 of Swords - Decision Making.

2) What is your personality like?  Are you blunt, gentle?
"Necessary"  "Forgiving"  The Hanged Man.
Okay, so blunt, but not a total asshole.

3) What is your area of focus?  Money, healing, relationships, those sort of things.
"Trauma"  "Shadows"  "High Priestess"  "The Star"  "Hope"  "Guidance through the pain."  "Lovers, shadow and light"
7 of Swords - Our shadows are often about what's hidden.  This deck is about uncovering those secrets, but not in a way that re-traumatizes you.

4) What is your message for me?
"Rest"
6 of Swords - Rest.

Same message I usually get.  Rest.  I've been trying.  I'm glad that I finally have a deck that specializes specifically in trauma and shadow work.

I was also given another deck.  Animal Spirit, what is your personality like?

This one is the deck claimed by my Spirit Guides and Familiars--many of which are animals.

Whale - Stability, Wisdom, and Peace.
So this deck is gentle, but firm.

What is your focus?
"Aid and heal"  "Bear energy.  "Do as we always have done."
Dolphin - Healer, Light, Blessings

What is your message for me?
"Listen"
Starfish - Listen to yourself, not to others expectations.

This one makes a lot of sense.  I won't go into it here though.  I still have to explore it more.

All three are also water elements - emotions, flow, subconscious.

All right, cool!  I'm looking forward to working more with these two lovely decks.  If you'd like a reading with one of these, or any of my other tools, check out my Hearth Fox Shop for my Oracle and Psychic Services.
