Keep protesting. When distractions and "normal" returned, most left the streets and went back to the same old and nothing changed. Looked like most were just bored and needed something do, didn't it?  Gave up too easily.  Be strong and focused if you want your rights back. Many do not have the physical prowess as others. Use your voices to inspire, to debate, to communicate. Speak. Talk with intelligence, not with insults and hurt. Turn your pain into intelligent power. Charisma. Empowerment. "Be careful who you hate, it might be someone you love." I felt this phrase yesterday, among family. Children talking about how disgusting gay people were, with a lot of vitriol in their little voices. Parents embarrassed--the same parents who taught them to think like that. Kids don't know about me, but their parents know that I'm part of the LGBTQ+ community.    I texted a friend about my situation and how much of a hypocrite that I felt like. How inauthentic I felt for not saying anything and being there around them.  How angry and hurt I was, hearing these children speak these cruel words--words of their parents.  Afraid, not for me, but for others' futures---other LBGTQ+ kids.  I know kids can be cruel, but these are young children, why are they speaking like that?  Why is there so much hate in their voices?  Why is there so much hate in their parents?  These people who've laughed and smiled with me.   This morning, I pulled out...
