I’ve been practising eclectic paganism and experiential witchcraft since 1994-95. I was a Wiccan too, from ages 11-13/14. As an incest survivor, I left that path because I didn’t like the incestious nature of the Wheel of Life myth (at the time, I didn't realize that mythology is rife with incest); nor did the Harm None law feel right to me. It felt too oppressive to me, that we couldn’t defend ourselves with magik—but this is a post for another day.
I’ve been psychic all of my life, too. There are practitioners and psychics on both sides of my family, but I wasn’t taught by any flesh-and-blood family. Always spirits, even ancestors much later.
When I was a child, I read those mythology and art books, and wished that those pagans and old gods were still around. They answered. The first deities who revealed Themselves to me were Sister Moon and Hestia. Throughout my childhood and teenage years, then came Hephaestus, Artemis, and Anubis. For most of my young adult life, it’s was just the handful, which soon included Hekate, Vesta, and Ceres.
In 2014, on a full moon Dionysus showed up and didn’t leave, and He opened the floodgates. From 2014 came a steady flow of entities into my life. And as of September 25th, I have roughly 83 entities and counting, (I count the big groups as one, like the Vestals, the Maenads, the Disir, Satyrs, etc).
I put the poly in polytheism, yall! My personal pantheon is growing larger every year. Some Entities I knew in other lives, others are completely new in this one.
Why are there so many? I honestly don't know, I do think it has part to do with past lives and possibly with my oracle abilities. I'm a Conduit for the Gods and Spirits, and that tends to attract attention. Some entities stay, Others don’t; and a few just stick around long enough for me to share Them with other people be through rituals, divination, or blog posts.
I also will not turn away any deity or spirit, regardless of path or culture. Just because an entity from a “closed religion” or specific bloodline comes to you, doesn’t mean you have to convert to that religion/spiritual path to work with Them. This may upset strangers, but I don’t care. Mind your own path. Humans don’t and can’t own the Gods. They come to whom They please. My job is to serve Them not willfully ignorant gate keepy humans who’re self appointed spiritual police.
I made a decision a little over a decade ago that I wanted to use my psychic and mediumship abilities to help my human and spirit communities, and I learned that I have a knack for channeling, trance, and consensual possession. The Deities closest to me gave me a taste of channeling, automatic typing/writing/drawing, and possessory trance, and I made another decision to study and train to be a vessel for Them.
And yet another with an oath to serve my Spiritual and Human communities as a Bridge, Defender, Healer, and Guide.
I don't speak for the Gods by any means, but They speak through me to deliver messages for those in need and those who ask. I know it's a little confusing, when an entity speaks through me, I'm not usually present and can't remember much afterwards--sometimes it's like I'm in a waiting room OR I'm watching the entity talking to people that I can't see. Usually these messages are personal, meant only for me or for one person or a small group of people. Messages for whomever they resonate.
I'm not ordering people around and begging for worship. I'm no prophet or messiah. I don't want followers. I'm not forming any cults. I'm certainly not special, as there are many legit people with these abilities, who call themselves and their practice different terms.
You’d be surprised at how often I’m at odds with the Gods’ messages. Sometimes They’re too blunt, uncaring about hurting feelings. Some entities are gentler than others, but They don’t always care about human rules and etiquette, or triggers or traumas. We’re a fickle species, with rules that change with the winds—and rules that are different from person-to-person and culture-to-culture. They ain’t got the time to do the research and don’t give a shit about TikTok rants about what we think is okay for a deity to behave. These entities aren’t human—They have their own rules and ways of thinking. They don’t follow our rules. They can be polite, yes, but we’re not in charge.
Sometimes I’m given messages, and will want to soften it, and then get yelled at for that. I’m learning to just say whatever I’m hearing and seeing, regardless of my comfort. It ain’t always pleasant. However, I’ve learned that sometimes that’s what people need—that bluntness. They’ve made it clear that my job—my oath—is to be their conduit and deliver messages, not to soften and sugar-coat.
“Too much of that bullshit in this world,” Hekate, who’s known for being a stern, strict Mother. “Too many excuses. We grow weary.”
My goal is to help people discover their strength to become their own healers and guides. I don’t want people to rely on me for guidance, but I also know that not everyone wants to/can devote the time and energy for this kind of work.
I evoke and invoke entities to help people who may not be able to hear them, may not know how to contact these entities, or maybe they feel like they're too close to the problem. There's a lot of different reasons why someone may come to a someone like me. I just wanna help be that bridge.
I can evoke and invoke entities who have permission from my Teachers and Guardians. I prefer working with entities that I already have some type of relationship with, due to safety concerns and because it's easier and faster to connect with Them. Ancestors and friends of clients can get approved by my Guardians usually without issues.
Here's a list about the entities in my life--They are my Spiritual Family, my Mentors, my Guides, and my Guardians. I love and am grateful for each of Them for everything They've done, do, and continue to do for myself, my family, and my community. I have most of them grouped by Hearth Culture.
In ADF Druidry, our Gods, Nature Spirits, and Ancestors are called our Kindreds.
Below, what I mean by an entity's "Preferred Tools" is the tools that They tend to use with me. They may or not have favorite tools with you or another.
Godspouse/Lover - It is what it sounds like. Sometimes deities take human spouses, kind of like how Nuns are married to God. This isn’t a new thing, godspouses aren’t special, and it’s not just sexual—just read the myths and ancient pagan history. The Gods have been taking human spouses probably since the beginning. The Gods are definitely polyam and pansexual. Believe in it or not, it doesn’t matter to me, I ain’t here to debate my divine relationships with others.

"Hearth Mothers [and Spirits], we honor you. Bring Your presence of the Living Flame into our home. Bless us with your gifts of light and warmth.
Hearth Mothers and Spirits, accept this offering."
