It's finally October! Today is a great day to spiritually cleanse your home in whatever manner you feel is right. I typically go a smoke cleanse in the names of our family's Hearth Entities, such as Hestia, Vesta, Hekate, Frigg, Loki, and the Tomten and Nisse.
It's also a good day for prosperity attracting magiks and rituals. I have a money attracting sigil that works pretty well for us. And I also do the cinnamon thing, except I ask the Spirit of Cinnamon for their help, give offerings, and then blow cinnamon in through my main entrance. Again, another thing that helps us from drown in corporate greed--I-I-I mean "inflation".
If you're sensitive to spirits, I'd suggest cleansing and recharging your wards, too. Remember, not all spirits are evil and out to get you. Most are neutral and are just existing. Places without spirits are unnatural. You can also make Spirit House Rules and give your guardians permission to enforce the rules.
