The tools that I use are pendulum, tarot, oracle cards, womanrunes, Elder Futhark runes, witch runes, and the Greek Alphabet Oracle. I also have various claire- abilities, which are clairvoyance, clairealience, clairtangency, clairaudience, and clairgustance.
I am a living, walking spirit box, who can channel various entities, from deities to animal spirits. I also practice consensual possession, allowing certain entities into my body to give messages.

Evocation is inviting an Entity into your space, kind of like having a friend over to your house. I act as that bridge or phone between Their space and yours, by channeling those messages.
Whether I'm slinging cards, pulling runes, or using a pendulum, Gods, Spirits, and Ancestors are usually present. They talk and tell me when to use the tools. Basically I'm just the bridge or vessel for communication.
For email/text sessions, when an entity speaks, I put quotations "" around their words. Also during these sessions expect lots of typos!

Most of my life I've heard chitter chatter from the Other. They communicate through words, tastes, emotions, energy, symbols, visions, and whatever else is necessary to get the message through. I've come to call myself a living Spirit Box, which is a tool used by paranormal investigators. The spirit or ghost box plays a frequency that allows spirits to speak through, usually a word at a time or short sentences. I do my best to interpret what I'm being shown. Often times what I'm seeing or hearing makes no sense to me, but does for the client.

Sometimes I use a Handler--especially for in-person sessions and group sessions--which is someone who keeps the session running smoothly when I'm not "present":
- They address the entity and introduce the client(s).
- They keep track of time.
- They keep the Entity on track.
- When in group sessions, they call on people to ask questions.
- They can help client(s) clarify their questions.
- If the client is unable to record the messages, the Handler can. They can also help decipher the messages coming through.
- They help to pull me out of the trance when the session is over.
Channeling to me is different than possession work. Channelling is me repeating what the entity is saying, whereas possession is them in my body speaking through me. With channeling I am present, with possession most of the time, I'm not. When doing possession work, sometimes it's like I'm in a waiting room. I can see the entity talking to someone, but I can't see who. Sometimes I'm partially present, especially for email/text sessions. I'm more aware of my body and surroundings, but not much. I think it was Ivo Dominguez in Spirit Speak who said the levels of possession are like being in a car (I may be wrong--I read so many books on this subject, I can't always remember who said what. My apologies.): Sometimes you're the driver, sometimes you're a front seat passenger, sometimes a backseat passenger, and sometimes you're asleep!

If you've booked a reading with me at events, you may have heard this explanation:
"The way that I work is by channeling Deities, Spirits, and the Dead. They may communicate through tools, but not always. The pendulum will be going most of the time, as whomever's present often likes to be included in our conversations. This way means yes, that way no. Circle means I don't know or maybe, and no movement means no answer. I'll also be writing things that you say, and things that I'm seeing and hearing. Whatever entity I'm channeling may also write or draw something--this is called automatic writing. Things that I write or say may make sense to you now, later, or never. It may just be words floating in the psychic air.
"Does all of that make sense? Any questions? Cool, let's go!"
At events, I can't do full blown possessions, so I give the entities control over my hands/arms, allowing them to shuffle, pull cards or runes, and write/draw. Although sometimes getting them to release a card or runes can be tricky and comical! I'll also be channeling/telling you what They're saying, as well as any sensations that I may be feeling within my body. It's not uncommon to feel an ancestor walk out from behind a person and stand next to me for these in-person sessions.
- Sometimes the Entities will ignore the question asked and go after the root of your issue. They can be very blunt. Hearth Fox Oracle cannot control what these Entities decide to talk about.
- I can only work with Beings who have permission from my Guardians and Guides. You can see what entities I work with and allow consensual possession here.
- Be respectful. These Beings are not here for your amusement. They will know if you're just messing around and may not come through.
- Do not challenge these entities.
- No drama from either side, or the session will be shut down.
- These Entities often speak in riddles and expect you to figure it out. Sometimes things won't make sense until after a session.
- Sometimes there are things that They can't or won't tell you.
- Sometimes the Beings that you want to come forward may not. Please be respectful of their wishes.
- When it comes to Spirits, sometimes who they were in life (if they had a corporal body) is who they are in death.
- Spirits can lie.
- Spirits are not all knowing. They may speak from their point of view--right, neutral, or wrong.
- Often the Ancestors are closer to us than the Gods, and often step forth first.
- Please use discretion.
- Regardless of what these Beings say, you are in control of your life. You can take their advice or not. The choice is yours. Hearth Fox Oracle is not responsible for your choices.
