Greetings yall! The First Day of Summer (or Winter, if you're in the Southern Hemisphere) is upon us! Today I'm doing another spread from the wonderful @moommamaoracle, simply called the Summer Solstice Spread (please don't click the link until after the reading). I'm going to do a Pick-a-Card for this one, using the Everyday Witch Oracle by Deborah Blake.
Close your eyes, take some deep breaths, and let intuition or your guides direct you. Pay attention to numbers, letters, and positions that may pop up in your mind. Pick your card(s)!

Imagine and Envision - Hestia says, "Less imagination. Get out of your head and put those goals into action this season."
2) What new beginning is waiting for me this summer?
Rebirth and Reinvention - Celebrate your rebirth this summer! Focus on you with some pampering, like maybe a new wardrobe? Different hair or make up? New spiritual practices or morning rituals? Celebrate your hard work and self dedication.
3) What can I find joy in this season?
Jumper - Meditation to Dig Deep - Stop avoiding the issue and being afraid of potential unwanted answers. If you keep avoiding working through these issues, they will keep being issues. You might be surprised by the results. Transform this fear and worry into answers and solutions.
Hibernation and Regeneration - You will find your joy in resting this season. Rest your body, mind, and spirit, and allowing yourself to heal a bit. As they rest, rest isn't a reward, it's a necessity for a healthy and happy you.
4) What is the general theme of this season for me?
Accept Love - Learn that you deserve love, too. Love from yourself and from others. You cannot pour from an empty vessel, nor is it fair that others receive while you're working your butt off. You deserve love and comfort, too. Perhaps be vocal and tell those around you, maybe they can help? You deserve support, too!
5) How can I celebrate and enjoy this solstice?
Earth Magic - If you're able to, get out of the house and go for a walk. Try some walking meditations, or observe nature, take pictures, draw, or paint; pick up trash you come across, or just sit in the shade and listen to the spirits all around you--the birds, the creaking of the trees as the breeze dances around them, feel the sun on your skin. As you enjoy, be sure to give back, too.
6) A Message from my Guides?
Jumper - Change and Progress - This card is similar to The Tower in tarot. It's message says that things fall apart for a reason. It gives you an opportunity to learn why the tower wasn't stable in the first place. It gives you opportunity to try new things--new or different materials, different building plans, different tools. Perhaps you need to take a look at the foundation and find a new spot?
Affirmation for Positive Change - You can do it! Keep taking those steps...or constructing that building.
