'Use Wisely'

 Some announcements:

  • With the vending event coming up on the 30th, I've decided to leave my Etsy shop closed until May1st.  I've been making a lot of new stuff for this event.  What doesn't sell will be listed in my shop.
    • If you'd like to purchase something sooner from me, check out my Facebook page.  I don't have a shop set up, but you can check out my Product Album and DM me if you're interested in making a purchase.  I accept Paypal and Venmo.
    • As always my psychic services are available.  Visit the Hearth Fox Shop to check out my services.  I accept Paypal, Venmo, and Trading through Amazon.
  • If you love attending Psychic Fairs, Hearth Fox Oracle is going to be at the Beltaine Psychic Faire in Dayton, Ohio, on April 30th.  I won't be there as a psychic, just as a product vendor.  Come out and support all the wonderful shops and talented psychics, including one of my witchy friends who makes many wonderful bath and beauty products, Jen & Tonic.  I'm a big fan of Curl Boss, Insect Repellant, Bug Bite and Sting Relief, and Hand Soap.
  • I am no longer a member of Evermoving We Rise, but if you're still interested in joining or attending their rituals, you can follow them on Facebook and their website for information, updates, classes, and supplies.
All right!  I recieved a new deck and I'm super excited about it.  It's the Tarot of the Divine by Yoshi Yoshitani, and is "Inspired by Deities, Folklore, & Fairy Tales From Around the World".  I've had my eye on this deck, and a book under the same name, for a while.  It's beautiful and vibrant.  Thick and textured cardstock, which I'm a fan of.  Easy to shuffle.

Right out the box, the Goddess Kuan Yin claimed it. Kuan Yin is Deity of Healing, Compassion, and Mercy.  She is one of my Healing Teachers, and entered my life a few years ago, when my middle son was 6 weeks old and nearly died from a strain of the corona virus.  When She (and Green Tara, They both arrived at the same time) came, that was the first time I had prayed to any deity.

This is a prayer drawing that I did while in the PICU with my son.

He's happy and healthy today, and is about to celebrate his 8th birthday in a few days!

Back to the new deck.  Today I've decided that I want to try one of those Deck Interview spreads, and I found one from Emerald Lotus Divination:

1) Card to Describe Our Relationship -  "The Fool"  The Fool is about new beginnings, risks, and leaps of faith.
I've drawn the 2 of Swords - Decision making.  Facing Fears.

2) What You Want to Teach Me - "Heal"
10 of Swords - I've been taught that this card is about resting after a battle or getting your ass kicked, and leveling out.  So yeah, taking time to rest and heal.  The last couple of years my main lessons (especially this past year) have been about patience and rest.

According to the author, this card is about "Severing Ties".  Kuan Yin said "both sides", meaning upright and reverse.  The reverse is about surviving and healing.

3) When Should I Use You - "When I ask, when you're in need."
8 of Swords - When in crisis.
Ace of Wands - Inspiration, creativity, and growth.

4) What is Something I Can Do to Improve Our Relationship - "Cleanse on Moons"  "Keep working on shadows and  balance with the light"
5 of Wands - Come into alignment with self.  "A bit out of whack".

5) Something Important You Want to Tell me - "Love covers all"
3 of Coins - Dedication and success.
The Moon - "With continued hard work, you will overcome the lies you tell yourself, your self sabotage.  Use this deck wisely and for others, too."

Thank you, Kuan Yin.  I will do my best.
