For today's divination Loki has selected "his" deck, the Rebel Unicorn.

The deck that this innocent little sweet pouch holds has an angry unicorn on the cards and offerings rude, blunt wisdom and cusses like a sailor.  The first time I saw it, Loki wanted me to get it for Him, and I'm glad that I did.  I've used this deck before on this website.  

When I do in-person readings, I lay out my pouches and let people pick what they're drawn to, without them knowing what the tools are, because sometimes people can build up a bias--sometimes earned--against certain tools, and they may miss what wisdom the entity of that tools may have for them.  And isn't this pouch just so deceptive?  Wouldn't be Loki's deck now would it?

I work with other Tricksters who also have their own decks, and there's nothing special looking about those pouches--nothing intentionally misleading.  Just this one.  

Loki!  What is your message for the collective this 1st Day of April?

I immediately heard, "Have fun.  Don't take life so seriously.  Stress kills faster than a smile."

He said to pull a card from each of my known Tricksters.  Odin says to pick a number from 1 to 9.  "No peeking!" Loki says.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, which number will it be?  Go with your gut.  What number pulls you?  Who will resonate the best?

1. Fox - "Take a fucking trip."  Get out of the house if you can.  Visit a new park, an exhibit, hang out with friends, take a painting class, discover a new hobby.  Or if you're not comfortable or can't go outside, talk you friends into hanging out on zoom and play a group game.  Try something new.
2. Raven - "Gwah!"  "Put the fucking phone down."  Go talk to a living person, too much screen time is affecting you in negative ways.  You could even visit an animal shelter and hang out with some lonely animals.
3. Crow - "You need some fucking yoga in your life."  You could research the history yoga, or perhaps this card is talking more about being physically active?  Lots of gentle ways of being active, like yoga, stretching, swimming, walking, home workout routines, goofy dancing, etc.
   
4. Coyote - "Howl at the moon!""Time to let go and move the fuck on."  Howling at the moon, screaming out your frustrations, pain, embarrassment, anger.  Get that shit out of you and move on.
5. Odin - "Power"  "Deal"  "Shame, regret, and guilt--those are just bullshit.  Let it Go!"  See card 4.  "Or any of them," Odin says.  "Anything that helps you let go.  Perhaps find new ways, because you're old ways may not be working anymore."
6. Loki - "Get grounded."  "Get some fucking sleep.  You're being an ass because you're fucking tired.  Face to pillow Now."  Or eat something?  How much water have you drank today?  Do something that refills your batteries, like something fun.  Or take a day of self-care--even if you're just in the bathroom reading a book because it's the only you time you can get.
7. Freya - "Stop talking.  Shut your mouth and listen."  Communication is a two-way street, talking and listening.  Many people leave out that last part.
8. Hermes - "The Fool's Journey, take the trip!"  "Fucking apologize--"  "to yourself," Hermes says.  "And mean it.  If you're not familiar with The Fool's Journey with the Major Arcana of Tarot, look into it.  Apply it to your own life--perhaps not so linear, as life and time are not linear.  You are The Fool.  Listen to the lessons being taught.  Accept what you are.  Fool's aren't bad archetypes.  Be The Fool and follow the cards.  If done correctly, this journey will bring great healing and success."
9. Dionysus - "You are giving too many fucks.  Give zero."  Dionysus says nothing, just reclines back, sipping from a wine glass.
